'Uthman bin 'Affan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The best amongst you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it." [Al-Bukhari]
Shipley Masjid Association prides it self on employing capable teachers who are able to deploy our syllabus in a loving, creative and exciting manner. All our teachers have studied under scholars from Medina University and are proficient in teaching Arabic & Tajweed at the highest level.
Abdullah ibn Amr said:

Timetable: Qur’an & Arabic School runs Monday, Wednesday & Friday - 5.15pm till 7pm
- Qur'an Recitation & Tajweed (The Art of Recitation)
- Tafseer (Explanation of the Meaning of the Quran)
- Arabic Language (speaking, reading & writing)
- Seerah - Stories of the Prophets (On whom be peace)
- Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence)
- Dua’s & Supplications
- Morals & Manners
Application Process: Interview, then an Induction.
Fees: £30 a month or £40 Hifz Class, paid strictly by Direct Debit (all fees are non-refundable).
Induction Fee: £20 to be paid in cash on the day of Induction

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The one who is proficient in the recitation of the Qur'an will be with the honourable and obedient scribes (angels) and he who recites the Qur'an and finds it difficult to recite, doing his best to recite it in the best way possible, will have a double reward." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
